Roofing Case Studies – Challenges and Solutions

Challenge

This old, tile roof leaked every time it rained. The leaks went from the roof, down the wall, flooding out the kitchen floor.  The homeowners were tired of the yearly maintenance and cleaning it required.

Solution

Cory Brown, the project manager knew exactly what needed to be done to solve their roofing problem. Our team removed the tile, restored the rotten wood and replaced roof with the Owens Corning Duration shingles in Antique Silver, a color required by their Homeowners Association.

Our customers are very pleased with the results. They can now enjoy their beautiful new roof, along with their Owens Corning Platinum Warranty, a 50 year non-prorated material and labor coverage.

Challenge

The homeowner contacted us because she was concerned she did not receive the proper inspection from her insurance company. She couldn’t have been more right. Upon our inspection our representative found significant shingle loss, crease caused by wind damage, and impact from debris. The home was clearly in great need of a new roof.

Solution

We were able to submit a request for a new adjuster, schedule a second inspection and gain approval for a roof replacement. The homeowner was happy to say the least.

Once all the proper documentation was completed, her project manager provided her a selection of color and materials to choose from for her new roof. The homeowner selected Owens Corning Duration shingles in the color Amber, upgraded her roof vents from turbines to Owens Corning VentSure®, Owens Corning WeatherLock® G to seal her deck, and our Standard 25 Year Manufacturer Warranty. The installation was quick, and she has already received compliments from her neighbors on the quality of our work.

The homeowner can look forward to years of security and satisfaction from her roof.
